HI guys, this is my first ever tab, and it aint exactly a bad song. I noticed
that nobody has tabbed any songs from the new RHCP album (By The Way). So here
is one of the best songs off of it..... forgive me if it ain't perfect, i have
only had the cd for a day....enjoy!!!! Any corrections, e-mail me at olesolskjaer20
@hotmail.com.

Strum these first four chords
e|---17------10-------17------10---------------------------------------------|
B|---15------12-------15------12---------------------------------------------|
G|---14------11-------14------11---------------------------------------------|
D|---12-------9-------12-------9---------------------------------------------|
A|---------------------------------------------------------------------------|
E|---------------------------------------------------------------------------|
Then pick these notes (its easier with a plectrum, but i use my fingers) and
strum the chord after it
e|-----7------7------7----7-----7-----7--------9-----------------------------|
B|-------8------8-----------8-----8-----------10-----------------------------|
G|-----------------7----------------7----------9-----------------------------|
D|---5-----5------------5-----5----------------7-----------------------------|
A|---------------------------------------------------------------------------|
E|---------------------------------------------------------------------------|
The following bit is played throughout most of the song
e|--------------------------17----17----17----17----17-----------------------|
B|--7----5----3----0----3---15----15----15----15----15-----------------------|
G|--------------------------14----14----14----14----14-----------------------|
D|--------------------------12----12----12----12----12-----------------------|
A|---------------------------------------------------------------------------|
E|---------------------------------------------------------------------------|

e|--------------------------10----10----10----10----10-----------------------|
B|--5----3----2-------------12----12----12----12----12-----------------------|
G|-----------------2--------11----11----11----11----11-----------------------|
D|----------------------4----9-----9-----9-----9-----9-----------------------|
A|---------------------------------------------------------------------------|
E|---------------------------------------------------------------------------| x 2
Cabron, Cabron......
repeat the above 4 times
then the line beginning I am small but....
play this
e|--7----7----7----7----7----7------9----9----9----9----9----9---------------|
B|--8----8----8----8----8----8-----10---10---10---10---10---10---------------|
G|--7----7----7----7----7----7------9----9----9----9----9----9---------------|
D|--5----5----5----5----5----5------7----7----7----7----7----7---------------|
A|---------------------------------------------------------------------------|
E|---------------------------------------------------------------------------|
After this, its is basically the same chords used, but in different orders, but
it is pretty simple to work out. You can do that for yourself

There is a little overplay part that is played over the chords (hence the name
overplay), and it goes like so
e|------9--slide up to--14---9--slide down to--7-----------------------------|
B|---------------------------------------------------------------------------|
G|---------------------------------------------------------------------------|
D|---------------------------------------------------------------------------|
A|---------------------------------------------------------------------------|
E|---------------------------------------------------------------------------|
This is played a few times. Again it is pretty simple to work out

Thats your lot. I hope you like my first attempt at a tab, and again if you have
any problems or corrections, email me at olesolskjaer20@hotmail.com
